All of us old hands who struggled through three years at university, six months at the College of Law and then two years' Articles will view this with dismay. Soon you will only need 5 GCSEs to earn the right to automatic admission into this profession, sorry trade.

But the ones I really feel sorry for are those who have passed all the exams, got all the certificates, run up all the debt and still cannot find a training contract.
