Shameful indeed.

Having trod the boards as a secretary, assistant, paralegal, trainee – only to be made redundant as an NQ and shunted back onto the paralegal pile – before attaining practising status, I am encouraged by this article. If nothing else, that it causes so much discussion is positive. Whatever your opinion as to the cause, the fact remains that a genuine and fundamental problem exists for those looking to qualify in law which needs to be addressed.
