As an adoptive parent whose children have come from a very dysfunctional background yet are now old enough to have facebook accounts it is a vexed question for me when they have contacted their birth mother who instead of going to social services, indulges in communications with the children of an unhelpful nature. I found it impossible to find any way of preventing this.

How the law could deal with social media communication in adoption is one that needs consideration. What the answer is I don't know.
