Look at the "terms of reference" at www,jaflas.co.uk. Here's an extract:

"In any event, no responsibility is accepted or imputed that we will take a case, or once taken we will produce a client care letter as this is simply not possible in all cases."

Since when could a solicitor unilaterally opt out of providing client care letters where has agreed to act for a client?

And this, from LinkedIn:

"Mohamed Hanief Formal Complaint Outcome

You will remember a few weeks ago this cretin referred to me in (a part of the female anatomy) very unprofessional terms and carried out a string of offensive posts on a thread where he swore and used disgraceful language. A disgrace to the profession, he was reported by my chambers and The SRA have recorded a formal complaint against him.

We are saddened that a member of the profession resorted to such base insticts, for a (limitedly) educated man we would have expected better, he has let himself and race he supposedly represented down badly.

Thank you to those of you who have in large numbers joined our fellowship as linkedin connections and for the words of support in private messages and in threads.

We will never shy away from promoting the truth over lies nor the rights of the vulnerable over those who are wicked.

The Rt. Hon. The Earl of Dublin, The Lord Harley.

Can the Gazette confirm that the SRA is looking into this?
