There is a very good reason why the police do not have any statistics on crash for cash incidents. They do not get involved unless someone is injured or killed. I was targetted by a crash for cash perp, luckiily I was driving a bus, the taxi was rigged to drop its bumper. My insurance company investigated after I told them that the cameras on the bus recorded the incident, the taxi driver had done this six times previously.
