Discontinuance is not evidence of fraud. A case could be discontinued for any one of a number of reasons, none of which having anything to do with the Claimant's integrity.

In my 20 years, the overwhelming majority of cases I have discontinued have had the plug pulled after disclosure of witness evidence, when it became clear that the prospects of establishing liability fell below 51%. The Claimants in such cases emerge without a stain on their character.
