Human Rights is a fundamental tenant of English law enshrined under the umbrella of HRA incorporated by ECHR and has made an enormous inroads into our evolving legal system since the European Treaty was signed over half a century ago, see commentary from Klug. We are not clear Mr Khan would exactly 'extend' such rights since it has already been incorporated to the extent that the courts are obliged to 'read and give effect' or make 'a declaration of incompatibility'. However, I agree that the more we know about this the more we learn from this evolutionary process with an added value of a supervisory chamber of international credence of judicial review of diversity that has shaped our justice system through our archaic judiciary offering a new protection and a sword of new Human Rights.

This transformation and 'wave of rights' bringing evolution of change cannot be criticised too readily for mistakes for rights come with responsibility in putting things right not least as these are constantly evolving through national debates and progress of society through education shaping our modern democracy and the world.
