Two things arise from this article. First, given that it was Labour who kicked off the destruction of legal aid that the Tories and Not-at-all-Liberals are continuing, it comes as no surprise that Labour won't lift a finger to protect they principles they claim to believe in.

Secondly, having read some of the comments on here about human rights I will be pretty shocked if they came from solicitors. If they did then I really hope they are retired.
