Let's get this straight
1. conspiracy theorists are sometimes right in their assertions
2. we have been led carefully into the political union which is the EU bit by bit up to and including Lisbon
3. We in England and Wales are the odd man out with a system which has been adversarial for centuries and it is the plan we must learn to grow out of it ready for full union integration
4.to that end the legal profession in England and Wales must be made smaller, less powerful, less influential
5. The devices to achieve a nice European style inquisitorial system is to force mediation ( no lawyers needed) encourage DIY law so no-one McKenzie or otherwise knows what the heck the judge is talking about.
6. If there is resistance to any of the above, demolish legal aid and keep changing court rules to confound, confuse, and demolish

It's all about shock and awe but it works provided you have a longer term plan in place - you don't want another Iraq debacle!
