What is disappointing is that Labour has not organised a Back Bench debate on MoJ "reforms" so as to embarrass Tories and Lib Dems.
Victims of crime can only expect Justice if the system is fully resourced. There are too few Police, too few probation officers, too few court staff (too many "managers"), too few prosecutors and support staff, too many committees and too many reports and too many decisions made by people who don't know what actually goes on in police stations or court.
Frankly the whole system survives on goodwill, sticking plasters and a lot of luck. It is a mess.
