Telemarketing works and that is why the insurance / defendant lobby hate it. That is why they lie and tell everyone that claims instigated through call centres are largely fraudulent when in actual fact the opposite is true. Am I the only person who has noticed a pattern of defendant behaviour namely if something works and results in more claims then brand it fraudulent and try and stamp on it! have helped literally thousands of clients through CMC's who operate perfectly legitimately and what is so bad about that? The world has moved on. Legal advice, like virtually every other service, is marketed via multiple channels. Why shouldn't people be advised via phone , e mail or text? Get out there and sell your services. Don't wait for client's to come to you. I get plenty of unsolicited contact from accountants, surveyors, double glazing salesman? Maybe the government should seek to regulate those industries to within an inch of their lives in the same way we as lawyers seem to be.
