The problem that is increasing in the Family Courts is one of unrepresented litigants and their children. Couple with a Judiciary that seems to be guided by considerations that veer between unbelievable brutality in the disposal of Adoptions and the concurrent unwillingness to recognise that the State is not always right requires a better degree of informed "third-party" oversight to ensure that unrepresented litigants and dependants are properly and judicially respected.
It is one of the saddest days for the English Legal System that it deprives those in need of proper representation from receiving it and that Society permits its judiciary to behave with "Soviet-style" disregard for those needs.
