To the person who said they would be suspicious of using the duty solicitor.. The hoops you have to jump through to become one are ridiculous. They have to put in an inordinate amount of training and sitting of exams to become a duty solicitor. I can make myself look great by clever marketing. I wouldn't stand a cat in hells chance of becoming a duty solicitor. They are not public defenders at the bottom of the pile as in the USA. They are the best trained criminal lawyers.
