Thanks Timothy Hawkins, much appreciated. Enjoy what you are now doing, or retirement, as the case may be.

And Timothy Sparkes, well done for identifying yourself and explaining that, despite dealing with the situation better than most lawyers would have done, the law still 'got' you. How can they expect lay people to understand anything when all that expertise gets it wrong?

And what was the outcome, may I ask please? Do you still employ the person in question? Or has the minimum wage done for him or her?

BTW my daughter lives and works in London and is paid c. £35,000 p a despite her 2:1 in French and Spanish and 28 years. I calculate that it will take her 30 years to earn £1,050,000 and therefore over 200 years to make £7m +. Should I have advised her to have become a banker? Or even a lawyer at Allen and Ovaries?
