Most solicitors will have a small but steady stream of disgruntled clients who unfairly blame their solicitors for things not going as they wanted. Some of those are nasty spiteful and a bit crazed. I refuse to go on comparison sites but some organisations try to put you on anyway. If one of the green ink brigade posted an unfair comment about my firm on one of those sites I would threaten them with defamation without hesitation. Just because they are "consumers" doesn't give them the right to try and do me harm. And anyone who says I shouldn't use the law to protect my firms reputation simply doesn't understand the real world we live in
