There may be no alternative for them given their reduced numbers but I think their new found lack of ambition is a mistake. Firms joined Quality Solicitors to become part of a national brand. I wonder if they'd have plugged away and not given up whether they might actually have achieved more of that aim. The above poster is right to observe it takes time - maybe the firms that left expected too much, too soon. My firm thought about joining some time ago as we could see how a brand for legal services could make an impact but as a 'back-office and training' company there is nothing here to make them stand out from dozens of similar companies. Somehow, QS as a mediocre support company just doesn't seem right!
