A comment on his suggestion that Cost Budgets be submitted 14 days before the CMC; what a seriously crass idea! The last CB I submitted was followed by three unannounced applications by the Claimant in the six days before the CMC. Giving a further week for application and counter application is going to make CBs either wildly inaccurate or so stuffed full of contingent cost schedules as to be unwieldy. If he means exchanged so parties can consider and challenge before the submission deadline, then that could be an improvement.
