'Disgracefully complex' legislation, delays in getting paid, fixed or falling hourly rates, devil take the hindmost competitive tendering and ever more complicated forms. It's almost as though someone is trying to tell us something. And all to save a few hundred million, tops. It's a good job solicitors are lousy business people (mostly) otherwise no one would do it.
