The whole notion of the state's interference with a contract between two parties is ludicrous.
The contract should end upon one party giving 90 days notice to the other
Other matters eg children are a joint responsibility and only if one party avers the other has not met responsibility should the court be involved in a breach of children's contract ( the one the parties made at the time of the child's birth)
As to finance it is the business of the parties to sort out finance and the court should be involved only when a breach of the mandatory pre nuptual agreement happens. Pre nups should be a condition precedent to entering into a marriage contract
Seems simple to me but apparently not to some others
If this government is so proactive it should introduce legislation as above
Every aspect of practice of Sharia law and the practice of any other law which is not English law should be outlawed
