So struggling high street firms will be acquired much to the relief of the small number of equity partners who have no succession plans in place. Then the majority of qualified staff solicitors and leg execs will be fired sorry made redundant and replaced by a whizzo IT/case management system operated by chimps with no legal knowledge whatsoever. Net result? Rubbish service but delicious economies of scale. I suppose I am a bit of a stick in the mud but all the same this sounds like a pants idea. Unless you have some shares perhaps. We shall see but don't say I didn't warn you.
