Jim, thanks for that, but I meant to say, well imply anyway, that it should have been picked up by SRA/SDT sooner and possibly wash't because of its complexity, thereby leaving it to FCA to deal with.

Does that make my meaning clearer? I think that it is fairly well known that outfits like HMRC duck the more difficult cases. If you had listened to "Any Answers" on the subject c. 6 months ago when an ex-HMRC officer spoke of his and colleagues' frustration at the big cases which they investigated for months, if not years, but went unprosecuted my meaning would have become clearer. If SRA/SCB knew about this man why did they not prosecute? If they did not know about him, then why not if FCA did?
