Anon @ 09:54. I completely agree, and it is a point I was going to make.

As for Manchester County Court, it is a joke. You go to the bottom and ask the receptionist. "You're in court 42 on the eighth floor." You take one of the empty lifts up to the empty eighth floor. The tumbleweed blows across, only to be stopped by an usher coming from a corridor, and realising she's in the wrong place, turning around and going again.

I always wonder what happens (if anything) on all the other floors!

Liverpool is always mobbed, standing room only.

Chester is another white elephant.

I suspect the automatic transfer of claims to the defendant's home court is responsible.
