People such as yourself are part of the problem. You like government keep repeating the headline figure of £200 + and state it as if the solicitor or barrister gets that in their own pocket. Its been pointed out many, many many times that the fee goes in the pot to support the premises,. staff wages, general operating costs and PI insurance. As I recall this government (in particular Grayling had to apologize to a large Manchester Firm after briefing the media that this firm earned millions in legal aid. It wasn't until the firm pointed out they do thousands of cases per year and the bill stands at a paltry £500 per matter So I and I would imagine all the other lawyers would like critics like yourself to check your facts before engaging mouth
