‘Last year over a third of all courts and tribunals were empty for more than 50% of their available hearing time.’
I rather think that is because there is a shortage of judges and court staff to hear and administer the cases rather than a lack.of litigants and accused. The busy courts are impossible to reach on the telephone as it is, I shudder to imagine what it is going to be like in the future.
