"I also find it strange that a individual has a right to appoint an Attorney to act in his stead to sell his car, sell his house, or manage his affairs during a period of incapacity, but at litigation you cannot appoint an Attorney who is not a solicitor or barrister. We have a multitude of choices every minute of everyday in our lives except, when it comes to representation in court. "

Here here and in civil court that is true BUT NOT IN CRIMINAL COURT, despite the Bar, Judges and others not really knowing. ALL have right of audience in criminal court under:

Powers of Attorneys Act
And Prosecution of Offenders Act
Some would also say Magna Carta 1297 (Act.)

Why? Because NO OTHER ACT FORBIDS IT.

I have even had an appeal to crown court from magistrates allowed on this basis because my such representation was refused and a retrial ordered.
