"Agile working" is supposed to be about offering every employee choice and empowerment around where and when they work, as long as their job can be done. It is supposed to be about removing artificial measures of success, such as time and attendance, and focusing on results and performance, using maximum flexibility and minimum constraints. It is supposed to go beyond flexible working or telecommuting and focus on eliminating the barriers to getting work done efficiently.

Maybe the article misrepresents things ... maybe they haven't reduced "agile working" to a ridiculous cost-saving measure about number of desks? Maybe they have embraced agility and given up valuing their fee earners via the chargeable hour?

Maybe not...
