NB Anon : It's nothing to do with self-publicising - it's about openly declaring your identity so as to reveal whether there is any angle/bias/self-serving element to the commentary.

As to what the Court sees, from reading the Bill, POD and Replies, the Costs Judges are able to see who has done what and why etc.

I remain of the view that fixing the fees in complex cases is unworkable and will result in unfairness. Not only for the lawyers but for Claimants. If a scheme proves uneconomical for lawyers to run (properly or at all), the Claimant will be the one to suffer. I'm not sure that this is taken into account when changes like this are considered but it should be the first thing that is considered.
