The reality is that most countries do not offer free medical treatment to even their citizens or residents, let alone migrants. If we were travelling in those countries we would likely not have a right to free medical treatment. Our system isnt "free" as we pay for it or will pay for it at some point in our lives through taxes. Migrants therefore should not expect to have the right to access medical treatment in the UK for free without having paid into the system. Where are the NHS's lawyers to support their managers if there is indeed abuse by migrants' lawyers?
