Like many I will make a submission to the MoJ and have a draft which I update. The times used for travelling are based on the Court due to close and it's replacement. It does not take into account previous Court clsoures and it's affect on those who Courr has been closed twice.
I mentioned Corwen whose Court was closed and it's cases transferred to Denbigh which closed in 2010. Those travelling from Corwen to Llandudno by bus will take nearly 3 hours starting at 0730. The bus changes at Rhyl and if they then travel by train they will arrive at about 10.00.
It is people in this situation that need to be considered. North Wales will be left with just 4 Magistrates' Courts. Two of the six Counties will not have one.
