HHJ Bellamy believed there was a case to answer which is why it went before Judge Roberts as I discovered when sitting in the public gallery. And procedurally flawed is a very lame excuse and without merit contradicts HHJ Bellamy who believed it had merit.

Attempting to have them imprisoned was perhaps over ambitious but how else can the institutional malpractice by Cafcass be brought to a halt. Look at the finding of the House Of Commons Select Affairs into Cafcass a few years ago and ask what improvements apart from cosmetic since then.

As for the oxymoron 'Welfare of the Child Paramount' where was that in evidence when yet another family law Solicitor bullied a terrified LIP outside court into believing that because of his nationality he had no hope of parental responsibility.

A Parliamentary Ombudsman Investigation HAD made finding against Cafcass in this case. Sadly not a surprise the Judge did not. Procedure is a wonderful safeguard.
