No, Anon 11.26, I have to admit I gave it up some time ago. It became more and more ridiculous with every passing year. My last case, an RTA, was heard 6 months to the day after the date of the accident. I dealt with it from start to finish. I suppose that just does not seem to happen these days. But I am now advising informally in a case where clients instructed local solicitors to pursue a £120,000 building damages claim and, 6 years later, came away with their case struck out for failure to serve properly and a costs order for £30,000 against them. Crazy!
