Speaking as one who has been sitting part-time for upwards of a decade and a half, I cannot agree more with Harry Dischler at 11:11. Certainly to me, it is a continual source of encouragement - perhaps even surprise - how respectful of the court are the overwhelming majority of LIPs. Yes, of course there are exceptions but in court, as in life; and as Harry says, the exceptions can easily include professional advocates.
