It's all very well picking up and exposing the worse of the LIP's, but, I'm not sure that the legal profession in the round, comes to court with clean hands. I think it was last year that a survey amongst lawyers found that their biggest beef was that other members of the profession did not alway put the administration of justice - e.g. to follow the rules of courts - before their need to win their case at any cost.

Furthermore, in this very paper, it would appear that hardly a day goes by when either a solicitor or barrister has been struck off for fraud, theft, or for some other trivial problem that makes LIP's look like the devil incarnate when measured against them - sarcasm.

I note that although many adhere to the Code of Conduct, many others use it as a shield to hide behind when rules are broken, lies told, and mischievousness abounds.
