Have any of these delightful people actually tried to get a training contract? There are many people with firsts who can't get a training contract because the profession has got out of the habit of offering training and into the habit of exploiting potential trainees with so called paralegal contracts. Fortunately for trainees, the SRA say what goes and not the Law Society which is why for the first time in many years I will think about offering a training contract to someone.
