There hasn't been a sudden increase in training contracts when the minimum salary was abolished. Furthermore, who apart from the wealthy can afford to live for 2 years on the national minimum wage while while paying rent, repaying LPC loans, etc? The minimum salary helps diversity not impedes it. Having training contracts at the national minimum wage level effectively means those training contacts are only available to the wealthy.
