Once again it's spit my coffee out time. Has anybody who is suggesting that whiplash is akin to, I don't know, a splinter in a finger ever had it? I have. It flipping well hurts and last longer than you think it will. I had a low velocity collision when stationary at a junction. I couldn't move for a week and after that I was restricted and in pain for at least six months, then pain on certain activities thereafter. It took about a year or so to settle down. It was pure whiplash, the type of injury that apparently is always 'put on'. It irks me beyond belief that the term whiplash is now read as fraudster. Yet again we are faced with knee-jerk reactions from people who don't understand the law, couldn't care less about injured people who have been put in that position by another person's negligence and are more eager to listen to the money than the sanity. I despair. Tell you what, stick them all in a minibus on the way to the meeting and rear-end them. Then see how they feel a couple of days later when the muscle tenses up and the headaches start...
