To Mr Carrod who thinks Mr Osborn is right to take this decision. He has obviously never been injured in an accident and had no income for a few months. This decision is wrong on the highest level. Most of the firms doing this kind of work are not ambulance chasers and are certainly not at the lower end of the legal evolutionary scale. This is quite simply the insurance industry once again funding the Conservative government. They already had their way in 2013 with the LASPO reforms so that most of the firms can no longer make enough money to survive, then there was Medco which was supposed to stamp out fraud - what was the point when they were always intending to increase the small claims limit.

Most of the clients I act for would not be in a position to act on their own behalf and do you honestly think the Courts would be able to deal with the influx of Small claims coming through all with litigants in person?

Your comments are utterly small minded and ridiculous and you obviously do not care about access to justice for the average person who does not have thousands of pounds behind them.
