Whilst I feel sorry for the poor bloody infantry who have lost their jobs I feel no sympathy whatever for the people who ran this firm.

Anyone who has read the Sonae case report must be horrified at the degree of ambulance chasing that went on, and the sheer opportunism of the claims, many of which were clearly imaginary.

Firms like this have, with their naked displays of greed, destroyed whatever respect the public had for solicitors generally, and we have all suffered as a result.

I for one am delighted to see the back of them. I hope many more of their type will soon follow.
