The situation is completely farcical and so obviously wrong on so many levels but it looks like it is coming in. What is really worrying is the lack of detail. As a business owner how can I plan for these changes? When are the changes coming in and how will it be implemented? Will it apply only to accident after a certain date or the date of entry into the portal? Is it going top be date of issue as in previous increases. This detail is of vital importance. It is the difference between an orderly wind down and complete annihilation of my business. At best the only future I can see will be with a massively reduced head count and a huge drop in income. But this comment is not about my back pocket. I have spent 25 years acting for claimant's against insurers and I passionately believe that in a civilised society people should be able to enforce their rights. these proposals are the antithesis of what I know to be right and proper.
