Years ago when I did PI the defendant claims handlers were apt to moan about the PI lawyer fraternity and no doubt used to tell their bosses what a corrupt lot they are. Now in one fell swoop their bosses have shafted them as well. Now that the claimant lawyers are gone so too will the defendant lawyers be redundant. That is why that ineffectual group called FOIL suddenly started complaining against raising the PI SC limit. The insurance Tsar's have played a fabulous game, lower liabilities and reduced staff costs = greater profit. Have a guess where my shares are!
