John Bower, it's simple really as the Government intends changing the legal system so that claimant's suffering minor whiplash claims are not entitled to financial compensation but only entitled to receive physio etc. Assuming the law is passed then you clearly can't pursue somebody direct for losses the legal system no longer recognises. It will be interesting to see the reduction in PI claim no's should the law be passed, as surely a large reduction will justify the insurance co's concerns?
