"access to law" is indeed important, but that access must surely be disinterested and with the client's interests paramount.

Regrettably my experience of insurers does not reflect that, and I see no reason to suppose this will be different.

A long, long time ago, in a galaxy which now seems far, far away, banking was a profession; then, without most people noticing, it became "commercial", and driven by "marketing" (now called "mis-selling", but properly called fraud). Access to loans was available to all....but not proper advice. We still live with the consequences.

Clementi was, of course, a banker....feel free to draw your own conclusions....
