A good idea to try and bring the Court Service into the 20th century (yes, I mean 20th, not a typo!), however, as one user commented, before we do this, it would be much more useful to bring the Court Service as it is to an acceptable standard. Increased fees are not resulting in an improved service. As a regular court user, I, and my colleagues, are finding the service is getting worse on a weekly basis. For example, not having to wait 2 months for an Order to be drawn up, (and the latest thing) having your PbA account debited twice for the same fee and having to file a formal complaint to obtain a status report on the Attachment of Earnings proceedings you issued 2 months ago. Spend the money on resources to improve the service first, rather than a new IT system, which as another user has commented, could well go the same way as the NHS National computer system...
