I can only sit back, in retirement, and feel awed at the destruction of a superb legal system that accommodated the litigant in person in the original small-claims system, later "Court", the "running down" case with a modicum of formality but honest work, up to the Royal Courts and open-season on inept Counsel.
Today you have mad Rupert! Even his Master of the Rolls couldn't support him. Now Briggs LJ wants a Skype based Court in the Cloud "to get lawyers out of the system". Where do these zealots come from? Were they ever on this Planet? Were they told to "think the unthinkable"? In this instance, who is going to volunteer to "sit" in these Tribunals in the Cloud? DDJs, unemployed Solicitors, redundant Counsel.
Well, if you will tolerate a Secretary of State for "Justice" who's idea of sorting out contentious legislation is to accept subordinate Instruments that go unchallenged, and judicial appointments based on ethnicity and age rather than merit, what do you expect?
