Spot on. Satisfaction ratings in the 90%+ range were found in the Lord Chancellor's Dept pre Legal Services Act 2007 "baseline survey" which was to be followed up post ABS's to show how poor solicitors were and how good ABS's are.

Has not worked out that way, so guess what, it is not happening.

This witch hunt of lawyers will end in tears - and not those of lawyers. Every single one of us is capable of doing something else. Most of us are lawyers because we believe we are doing some good, as well as earning decent pay - bit like journalists.

What good has the Competition and Markets Authority, or any of these other parasitic quangos, ever done for anyone ?

Scrap the whole lot and society would benefit.
