Completely agree with this article. What a load of nonsense and a waste of time. Bottom line is that our expertise costs money - and good money and why shouldn't it? You simply cannot get away from the fact that skill, knowledge and experience costs money and all providers (firms, ABS's, etc) price according to the market. There is huge choice, excellent protection for consumers and a multitude of funding options. How can you in any event measure 'value for money' for something which is not a commodity (even so called 'commoditized legal services') and in respect of which there are so many providers? Bonkers. As said, I look forward to seeing how the CMA deal with this.
