You cannot tackle the cost of practice, until you tackle the cost of PII and this forum has identified that there are no easy solutions.

If the Government wants to encourage unregulated advice and cheaper cost, or regulation lite and PII lite, then then has to apply to Solicitors, however, has TLS the brains or stomach to take this argument up ? McKenzie friends etc have been out in the open for a couple of years now, but TLS have been silent, save for the Chair of the City of London who brilliantly pointed out that they were paying fortunes in PII for largely work that wasn't reserved !
