Sadly the link to the old article is bad. Can we guess what it would have said? “Ground-breaking new innovations increasing consumer choice and being a game changer for the legal services market through the revolution now allowed by ABS’s?”
I don’t have time to do it but it would be informative to see a graph showing the (reducing?) period between such PR puffs and the new business going bust or having a “strategic review”.
The PI changes may be the game changer as in future anyone thinking of investing millions in the legal services sector will realise that they are entirely at the whim of the Lord Chancellor, and that he is entirely in thrall to the insurers. Anyone remember when doing away with legal aid would increase consumer choice because the LEI market would open up?
