There is usually a direction for one party to prepare an "agreed" bundle.
It can be impossible to reason with an opponent (especially, but not exclusively a LiP) as to why every scrap of paper should not go in to a bundle.
The reality is that the advocate will take the judge to the relevant pages and the rest will just be ignored. How many judges read the bundles ahead of the hearing anyway? Not many!
