You are right they are spending a lot on the digital and TV but they are having to spend a lot for little return, if you look at how well Fentons did with just a PPC model and TV, and Pannone with just digital S&G are spending way over the odds to get the work. As a current member of staff at S&G I know so many people looking to leave, I also know that senior staff from legacy firms regret jumping into bed with S&G. Looks like Simpson Millar were very lucky (clever) to pull out of a merge with S&G. Could they go under? Yes they could.
